LISA WEINER IS A CERTIFIED NEUFELD PARENT CONSULTANT, AN INTERNAL FAMILY SYSTEMS THERAPEUTIC PRACTITIONER, A FACULTY MEMBER AT THE NEUFELD INSTITUTE AND A NURSE PRACTITIONER

Lisa’s approach is deeply rooted in a creative and harmonious synthesis of Gordon Neufeld’s relational developmental paradigm and the Internal Family Systems model.

Lisa brings her love of parenting, her background in human physiology and nursing, her expertise in human development as well as her deep insight into parent-child relationships to her work. Using stories, humor, metaphor, psychoeducation, neuroscience, literature and the arts and conveying them in her uniquely warm, funny, passionate and articulate style, Lisa is honored to support parents through coaching sessions and classes.

Lisa holds a master’s degree in nursing and has taken all the required coursework to become a therapist. However she has chosen not to pursue licensure as a therapist in order to focus deeply and specifically on the approaches she finds most effective — the Neufeld Paradigm and IFS — and so that she can work with out-of-state clients (given that there are only two certified Neufeld parent consultants in the US!).

Lisa lives in Portland, Oregon with her husband, two teenage sons and dog. She would be honored to support you in becoming the parent you yearn to be!
